WESTERN SYDNEY
DANCE COMPETITION
Swing & Rock n' Roll Since 1999
At WSDC, we believe dance is more than just a competition — it's a community.
Our Mission
Where passion meets purpose.
Founded on tradition, driven by community. For 27 years we’ve created a space where dancers belong — and we’re just getting started.

Our Story
The Story of the Competition
1999
A Simple Idea
A group of parents seeking a better experience. A first competition at Tuggerah Lakes Memorial. Little did we know, this would be the beginning of a journey that would continue for 27 years.

Early 2000s
Coming Home
WSDC brought its roots back to Sydney’s west — where our dance family lived, taught, and grew together. It wasn’t just a move. It was coming home.
